On January 20,2021: The IRCC invited 374 applicants from the Express Entry aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams.
Applicants with a provincial nomination and a minimum CRS score of 141 were invited to apply for permanent residency.
Since it was an Express Entry aligned PNP draw, 600 additional CRS points were granted to applicants who received a provincial nomination.
Therefore, applicants with a minimum 741 CRS points received the ITAs.
On January 7, 2021: It was the 172nd Express Entry draw. This draw was for the applicants to the Canadian Experience Class only.
A total of 4,750 ITAs were sent to applicants with a minimum score of 461 on the CRS.
The increase in the number of ITAs issued is highly influenced by the Canadian Immigration Levels Plan of 2020-2022. The plan set out the target of 400,000 new permanent residents every year.
