You will receive points based on your business ownership and/or senior management work experience for the last 5 years.
Please list all of your active business ownership and/or senior management work experience for the last 5 years. You will be assigned points in the experience section for periods that are not duplicated or overlaps in time.
You may not claim senior management experience if you worked at the same business of which you owned more than 10 per cent during the same period of time.

Business Owner - Manager Experience*

Business Ownership*
In addition, you will be awarded points if you have owned 100 per cent of a business for at least three of the most recent five years. The 100 per cent ownership of the business may be shared between you, your spouse or common-law partner, and/or your dependent child(ren).

The BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration is for international entrepreneurs and investors with relevant experience in business ownership and management with a significant net worth. 

The applicants must establish or acquire a business in the province of British Columbia.

There are 3 immigration streams offered under this category:

The Regional Pilot Program is for entrepreneurs with a net worth of $300,000 willing to make an investment of at least $100,000 in establishing a new business.

The Base Category is for entrepreneurs with a net worth of at least $600,000 willing to invest at least $200,000 in establishing or acquiring a business in the province.

The Strategic Projects stream is for foreign companies that want to expand their operations in the province. Foreign companies can nominate up to 5 key staff members for provincial nomination.

The key staff member can apply for permanent residence if the business meets all the conditions specified in the Business Performance Agreement.
