The 26th annual readers poll in SKI Magazine’s Resort guide ranks the top 60 North American ski resorts. 20,000 surveyors have voted Whistler Blackcomb as the No. 1 overall ski resort in Northern America. Although Whistler is known for being a home to winter sports, it is a year-round resort with the ski area morphing into a mountain biking park in warmer months, resulting in many never feeling the need to go anywhere else.

Through International Experience Canada, those between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply for a temporary work permit to travel and work in Canada for up to two years. Previous participants may re-apply as long as they meet the criteria and requirements at the time of their new application. With a working holiday visa, applicants do not need to have a job lined up in Canada and there is no restriction on the type of work on Working Holiday visa as it is an “open” work permit.
