Manufacturing Employees in Alberta

In response to labour needs, The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) has changed work experience requirements to the Manufacturing Industry category. Changes to work experience criteria include, a minimum of two years work experience in a job similar to the employer’s type of business at the time of application to the AINP. Also, of the two years of work experiences, at least one must be Canadian work experience.

In order to be eligible, candidates must meet all AINP Semi-Skilled criteria including, meeting educational and language standards and manufacturing industry criteria. Additionally, candidates are required to be employed in Alberta for a minimum of six months before applying to the AINP.
